Job Overview: Full-Time Night Receptionist at The Westbridge Hotel
The Westbridge Hotel is seeking a professional, friendly, and dedicated Night Receptionist to join our Front Office team. This role is vital as the first point of contact for our guests and visitors during night shifts, ensuring they receive exceptional service and a welcoming atmosphere. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. A background in hospitality or guest services is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, creating a positive first impression.
Answer phone calls promptly and professionally, addressing inquiries or directing calls as necessary.
Manage bookings and reservations, ensuring accuracy in guest information.
Assist guests with check-in and check-out procedures, providing information about hotel services and local attractions.
Handle guest complaints or concerns with professionalism and empathy, striving for effective resolution.
Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming reception area reflecting the hotel's standards.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
Maintain accurate records of guest interactions and transactions.
Ensure the safety and security of the hotel premises during night hours.
Candidate Requirements:
Proven experience as a night hotel receptionist or in a similar guest-facing role.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills; warmth and professionalism in all interactions.
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
Familiarity with Opera PMS is advantageous.
Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly beneficial for effective communication with diverse guests.
Eligibility to live and work in the UK (documented proof required).
Working Hours:
40 hours per week, including weekends.
Shift patterns primarily from 22:45 to 07:15, with some shifts from 21:00 to 05:30.
