Night Sales and Warehouse Operative

4-day working week including a 5-day weekend every 3 weeks (as well as other time off).

Based in Norwich, our extensive network of suppliers is built on long-lasting partnerships, allowing McCarthys to source the best of both local and international produce to a range of wholesalers, resellers and caterers.

The hybrid role comprises of processing calls, liaising with customers, and following customer orders from entry onto our computerised system, through the picking process using a PPT, and finally to the invoicing process ready for morning despatch.

This role is an initial (telesales) point of contact and the ideal candidate should be well spoken, customer focused, and be able to work well under their own initiative as well as part of a small team. The job will also consist of warehouse working within our chilled warehouse environment.

SKILLS REQUIRED

Customer-facing communication skills

IT literacy, with speed and accuracy essential

Warehouse skills are beneficial as is a knowledge of our industry

KEY INFORMATION

Hourly pay 13.80

Projected pay of 35k+ p.a.

Night shift 5pm - 5am (4 days a week, 48-hour working week)

Sunday - Friday working (with an attractive rota system giving you a 5 day weekend every 3 weeks)

Paid 30-minute break every shift

We are happy to consider applicants preferring a 5-day working week (with daily hours reduced). Rotas would change, but other information remains the same.
