Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our bread baking team as a night shift baker. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our bakery and the delivery of high-quality products to our customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food production and preparation, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to food safety standards.

Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications. Assist in the daily operations of the bakery, including food preparation, weighing down, Hand moulding and oven work. Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with health and safety regulations. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service and high-quality output. Participate in inventory management, including stock rotation and ordering supplies as needed. Assist in baking tasks as required, ensuring adherence to recipes and quality standards.

Skills

Proven experience in food production and preparation within a professional kitchen environment. Strong culinary skills with the ability to cook various cuisines. Familiarity with baking techniques and processes is advantageous. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices. Previous restaurant experience is preferred, showcasing an understanding of fast-paced kitchen dynamics. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure. A team player who communicates well and contributes positively to the kitchen environment.
