Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate Care Assistant to join our team in providing essential care services to individuals in a care home setting. The role involves supporting residents with daily activities and ensuring their well-being.
Duties
- Assist residents with personal care tasks as outlined in care plans
- Engage with residents to provide companionship and emotional support
- Help residents with mobility and transportation needs
- Maintain accurate records of care provided using IT systems
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and colleagues
- Ensure the cleanliness and tidiness of residents' living spaces within the care home
Experience
- Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is desirable
- Ability to drive is advantageous for transportation purposes
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Understanding of the importance of person-centred care
