The Role: Nocturnal Delivery Specialist for The Modern Milkman

As a dedicated delivery service provider, you will be the face of The Modern Milkman for its customers, ensuring fresh milk, juice, and groceries are delivered accurately and with care. Imagine delivering morning essentials, making a quiet, positive impact before the world wakes.

Key Responsibilities:

Collect pre-allocated customer orders from our hub (York or Newcastle) and efficiently load your Fiat Doblo van (or similar). Use a user-friendly app for optimised routes and seamless delivery within your designated catchment area. Ensure precise, on-time deliveries, adhering to customer instructions to maximise satisfaction and performance. Collect empty bottles, contributing to our client's sustainable, closed-loop system.

Proven Driving Expertise:

Must be

23 years old or over

, with a UK driving licence held for 2+ years and 6 points or less. (Full driving licence checks will be carried out).

Commitment & Reliability:

Available to provide services 6 nights a week (Sunday-Friday, start times 21:30-22:00).

Professional Demeanour:

A 'can-do' attitude, meticulous attention to detail, and pride in customer service.

Operational Acumen:

Ability to work efficiently under pressure, both independently and as part of a supportive team. Comfortable with night work in all conditions.

Physical Aptitude:

Capable of handling the fast-paced nature of the role and performing duties quickly and efficiently.

Tech Savvy:

Own and operate a smartphone (iOS 12 / Android 10 or newer) with an in-car holder and charger.
