Night Shift Factory Assistant
Job Description
Bailprint Labels Ltd produce self adhesive labels mainly for the food industry. Due to expansion we are looking for a Night Shift Factory Assistant.
Main duties:
Mounting of plates ready for production
Ensuring that the correct paper and ink is ready for the printers to use
Mixing ink
Booking ink in and out
Assisting with press change overs
Cleaning and correct filing of printing plates and cutters
Carrying out and completing the cleaning schedule
Setting up slitting machine and running to customer specification
Boxing, packaging and labelling finished product to customers specification
Keeping the factory clean, safe and tidy
Disposing of waste
Experience working on machinery and computers would be desirable, however training will be given
FLT driving licence would be an advantage
Experience:
Good communication skills and attention to detail
Previous experience of working in a manufacturing environment
Hours
Night shift
Monday - Thursday 10pm - 6am
Friday 6pm to midnight
Salary
12.82 per hour plus generous shift allowance
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From 12.82 per hour
Expected hours: 38 per week
