Hours:

35 per week | 3 nights on, 3 nights off

Shifts:

22:00 - 08:00 (includes weekends & bank holidays)

We're looking for a reliable and experienced Night Shift Manager to lead our dedicated night team at Towy Castle Care Home. If you're confident under pressure, skilled in supervision, and passionate about delivering outstanding care, this could be your next step.

About Towy Castle

Towy Castle is a 61-bed residential care home set within landscaped gardens overlooking the Towy estuary. With over 35 years of trusted care, we specialise in dementia and elderly care, offering a welcoming home where residents are supported with dignity and compassion.

Your Role

As Night Shift Manager, you'll play a vital role in ensuring residents feel safe, supported, and respected through the night. You'll lead the team, provide hands-on support where needed, and maintain the highest standards of care.

Key responsibilities include:

Supervising and mentoring night staff to deliver person-centred care Providing hands-on support with personal care and comfort needs Carrying out routine checks and responding promptly to emergencies Maintaining security and safety throughout the home overnight Administering and recording medication accurately Leading effective handovers to ensure continuity of care Keeping accurate care notes, incident reports, and documentation

What We're Looking For

? Previous senior care or supervisory experience (essential)
? Strong knowledge of elderly and dementia care
? NVQ/QCF Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care (or working towards)
? Calm, dependable, and confident in managing emergencies
? Clear leadership and communication skills
? Flexibility to work weekends and bank holidays on a rota
