The Opportunity

We are seeking a Production Shift Manager who is confident, assertive, and reliable, with excellent leadership skills and a strong understanding of manufacturing processes. This is a hands-on role where your presence on the shop floor will be instrumental in mentoring and guiding your team.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and deliver the daily production plan, ensuring products meet high-quality standards Lead, support, and develop your shift team to achieve operational KPIs Uphold and enforce compliance with food safety, health & safety, and GMP standards Collaborate with support departments, particularly in retail packing Implement continuous improvement initiatives and drive operational efficiency Foster a culture of accountability, learning, and engagement Ensure effective succession planning and staff development

What you'll need

Minimum 2 years of experience in a Production Supervisor or Shift Manager role Experience in FMCG or a fast-paced manufacturing environment Strong leadership, communication, and team development skills Level 3 qualification in Food Safety Good knowledge of HACCP and chilled/Frozen food production Proactive and analytical approach to managing production issues Experience in Lean Manufacturing (desirable)
