The Role

We're looking for an experienced Nightshift Warehouse Supervisor to join our growing operation.
You'll lead our nightshift team, ensuring that all multi-temperature goods are received, picked, loaded, and despatched safely and efficiently.

This is a hands-on supervisory role -- you'll be actively involved in warehouse operations, including manual handling and loading/unloading vehicles, while supporting and guiding the team throughout the shift.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate all nightshift warehouse activities. Lead and motivate a small team of operatives to achieve performance and safety targets. Carry out hands-on warehouse duties, including manual handling, picking, and loading vehicles. Ensure all vehicles are loaded accurately and safely for delivery. Maintain stock accuracy and ensure temperature control and food safety standards are upheld. Complete all necessary paperwork and digital records accurately. Maintain high standards of housekeeping and promote a safe working environment. Communicate effectively with transport and day teams to ensure smooth handovers.

What We're Looking For

Previous experience in a supervisory or team leader role within a warehouse environment (temperature-controlled or food logistics preferred). A hands-on, proactive leader who leads by example and takes pride in doing things right. Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling as part of daily duties. Strong communication and organisational skills. Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently. Full UK driving licence with no major convictions (required). Forklift licence (advantageous but not essential).
