We are now seeking an experienced permanent Site (Night) Manager to oversee our fit out & construction projects from start to finish. The successful candidate will be required to manage the night team and be responsible for overseeing and managing the various fit out and construction site locations within Gatwick Airport, ensuring that work is completed safely, on time, and to the required quality and standards.
Responsibilities
Core Commercial Duties
Manage the night operations of various fit out and construction operations within Gatwick Airport, including all on site Health & Safety management, assist supervisors in supervising the teams, coordinating subcontractors, and liaising with clients and other stakeholders where required.
Ensure that all work is completed in compliance with Gatwick processes and building codes, health and safety regulations, and other legal requirements.
Prepare and maintain project schedules, including tracking progress and identifying potential delays.
Maintain electronic project documentation, including Health & Safety reporting, Inductions, start & end of shift site reports, work permits, and other relevant records
Ensure that all workers on the site have the correct induction and CSCS cards, qualifications and training to carry out their works in the correct and safe manner.
Address any issues that arise on the site, including resolving installation issues and mitigating risks.
Ensure high level safety and working practices are maintained and at the end of each shift site cleanliness is of the highest level including all public facing work areas.
Attend regular site meetings when required and provide regular progress reports to project stakeholders
Requirements
Proven experience as a Site Manager in the fit out - construction industry
Excellent knowledge of fit out - construction site management principles, methods, and techniques
Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide teams to achieve project objectives
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels
The ability to communicate and provide information effectively with the project day teams
The ability to deliver long term multiple projects (150k to 4 million) to the highest of levels
To have the experience and knowledge to always put the safety of the site team, client's team, passengers and the public first
A valid CSCS card and SMSTS certificate are required
Clean driving licence and criminal record (DBS check required)
5+ Years experience as a site manager
