Location: Reading, UK

Hours: Night Shift (Part Time)

Salary: 12.40 per hour

Full UK Driving Licence & Access to Vehicle Required

Reports To: Registered Care Manager

The Role:

We are looking for a reliable, compassionate, and observant individual to join our team as a Night Spot Checker. In this vital role, you'll conduct scheduled and unscheduled night-time visits to ensure the safety, wellbeing, and standards of care delivered to our service users remain consistently high.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out night-time spot checks across client homes and supported living locations. Monitor and assess care worker performance in real-time. Ensure care plans and night-time routines are being followed. Report safeguarding concerns or non-compliance promptly. Complete detailed reports after each visit. Support lone workers during night shifts where required. Promote and maintain the dignity and independence of all service users.

Requirements:

Must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a reliable vehicle. Previous experience in domiciliary care or supported living preferred. Understanding of CQC standards and safeguarding. Strong observational and communication skills. Ability to work independently, with good time management.
