Support Worker

to join our team at

Cedar Garden, Tag Lane, Preston.

Working

nights

8pm-8am with everyother weekend availability required,

x3 Nights 33hr, or x2 Nights 22hr Contracs Avalible.

is a 30 bed dementia specialist, male only facility

About the Role:



As a Support Worker, you'll play a vital part in helping individuals achieve their goals and maintain independence. You'll support with personal care, daily living activities, and engagement in therapeutic routines, using trauma-informed approaches and Positive Behaviour Support (PBS).


What You'll Do:




Deliver compassionate, person-centred care Motivate and support individuals to engage in meaningful activities Promote dignity, choice, and independence Implement care plans and behaviour support strategies Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team Uphold accountability through accurate documentation and reflective practice

What You Bring:




A caring, respectful approach to diverse needs and backgrounds Resilience and adaptability in a dynamic care environment Understanding of trauma-informed care and PBS (training provided) Commitment to excellence and continuous learning NVQ Level 2/3 in Health & Social Care (or willingness to work towards)
