Night Transport Supervisor

to oversee the nightly operations of our busy transport fleet. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and know how to lead from the front, we'd love to hear from you.

Shift:

Nights, 4 on 4 off 12 hours 18.30pm-06.30am.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee all night transport operations to ensure timely, compliant, and efficient deliveries. Manage driver schedules, monitor performance, and conduct shift briefings. Track vehicle movements and address any incidents or route issues promptly. Maintain accurate records and ensure adherence to safety and transport regulations. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth operational handovers. Support driver training, performance, and development. Report on KPIs and identify areas for continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Skills:

Proven experience in a supervisory role within transport or logistics (night shift). Solid understanding of transport compliance, vehicle scheduling, and route planning. Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Proficient with transport management systems (TMS), route planning software, and MS Office. Ability to work independently and remain calm under pressure. Valid driver's license (C+E license is a plus). Knowledge of West Yorkshire road networks and traffic patterns is advantageous.
