Operating across the whole of the UK with circa 200 employees, we collect, store, process and auction over 50,000 vehicles per annum on behalf of major insurance and fleet companies, and many more. Charles Trent continues to sell 8m of recycled parts worldwide annually which has grown 40% year on year for the last 3 years and recently were the recipient of the Solent 250 2018/19 growth story of the year award.To support us in continuing to expand our business we are looking for top quality people who can deliver industry leading performance.

Purpose:

As one of our Night Trunking team, you will be responsible for transporting vehicles between our depos based in Rugby and Poole.

Rugby Site, CV21

Salary:

Up to 40,000

Working Hours:

48 hrs per week

Working Pattern:

Monday to Friday - 5pm until finish (usually 9-hour shift)

Reporting to:

Transport Manager & Delivery Team Leader

Duties & Responsibilities:

Transporting multiple vehicles between different Charles Trent sites Accurately completing all associated paperwork daily Communicating with our logistics department Complying with all drivers, environmental, and health and safety legislation and regulations Maintain good housekeeping practices ensuring vehicle is kept clean and tidy

Experience & Essential Qualities:

C+E Driving Licence with a current CPC and Digi Tachograph card HGV/LGV Driving experience is essential Thorough understanding of driving regulations Excellent communication with customer service skills Reliable with a strong work ethic A conscientious approach to work with a commitment to health & safety Experience in the recovery industry is highly desirable but not essential Flexible approach to tasks and able to work alone
