Job Description

HGV Class 1 night trunk driver.

Driver will be required to work from Monday Evening to Saturday morning with a varied PM start time.

Will be driving from the Hambridge lane depot depot to Cannock/Essington to unload then will be reloaded and drive back to the Hambridge Lane depot in Newbury.

there will be occasions you are required to go to our Milton Park depot to Collect or drop off.

```Duties```
- Safely and efficiently operate a commercial vehicle to transport goods and materials to designated locations
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Inspect the vehicle before and after each trip to ensure it is in proper working condition
- Communicate with dispatchers or supervisors to receive instructions or updates on delivery routes
- Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding safety, security, and confidentiality

```Skills```
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Proven experience as a HGV driver.
- Excellent knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
- Ability to operate a commercial vehicle safely and efficiently
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Physical stamina to handle loading and unloading of cargo
- Excellent communication and customer service skills

Notes:- Experience with driving double decker's is preferred.

Pay: 42,380.00 per year
