Night Veterinary Surgeon - ECC | 60,000-72,000 DOE | No Patient Transfers | West Sussex

60,000-72,000

salary depending on experience

3-week rolling rota

: 3 nights on, 7 off, then 4 nights on, 7 off

13-hour night shifts

with built-in handover time

No inpatient transfers

- all care remains on-site

7 weeks annual leave

, including bank holidays

1,500 CPD budget

(or

2,000

for Advanced Practitioners)

Certificate funding available

Enhanced sick pay

(2 weeks at 100%) and

enhanced parental leave

(6 months at 90%) Supportive

night nursing team

(one night nurse + one twilight nurse + ACA support)

About the Role





This is a permanent night ECC role with a highly sustainable rota and strong support from a skilled nursing team. Based in a state-of-the-art hospital, the caseload includes emergencies and inpatient care from several local practices. There's no client transfer stress--patients stay on site throughout their treatment, ensuring seamless continuity of care.

The hospital operates 24/7 and serves as an ECC hub for local practices. Collaboration with first opinion and referral teams provides an enriching and varied caseload. Who We're Looking For





This role is perfect for a small animal vet with at least

2 years of UK practice experience

and a passion for ECC. Experience in OOH work is an advantage, but not essential. Most importantly, we're seeking someone who embodies values of
