Job Introduction
We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced
Nightshift Cleaning Supervisor
to join our team at the prestigious Johnnie Walker site in Edinburgh. This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the delivery of cleaning services during night hours, ensuring high standards of hygiene and safety are maintained throughout the site.
If you are proactive, have a strong eye for detail, and possess previous supervisory experience in a cleaning environment, we would love to hear from you.
Main Responsibilities
Supervise a team of cleaning operatives during the night shift to ensure daily duties are completed to the highest standard.
Provide hands-on cleaning support and step in to assist as needed.
Monitor cleaning performance and ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
Conduct regular inspections and maintain cleaning records.
Manage stock levels of cleaning materials and ensure all equipment is used safely and correctly.
Provide training and guidance to new and existing team members.
Liaise with the Cleaning Manager to report any issues or feedback.
Ideal Candidate
Previous cleaning and supervisory experience is essential.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead a team effectively.
Attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.
Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
Reliable, punctual, and committed to delivering a quality service.
Due to shift patterns, access to reliable transport is preferable.
