We are currently recruiting an

Experienced

NIGHTSHIFT QA Technician,

on a full-time, permanent basis, to join our team in

Bellshill (ML4 3NP).

The shift pattern will be 4 nights, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, 7pm - 5.30am. 40 hours per week.

Previous experience in QA in food production and / or manufacturing of food products (bakery or other food factory

) is essential to allow you to carry out your duties.

Your main job role is to be responsible for monitoring, inspecting and proposing measures to correct or improve Dr Schar UK products in order to meet established quality standards and maintain gluten free status of products made on site.

What you will be doing:

Ensure that quality standards and food safety regulations are observed Help to maintain a strong food safety culture Inspect and evaluate product quality during production runs Inspect raw materials at intake Address and discuss issues and proposed solutions with superiors Complete and document quality assurance activities Assist with internal audits as auditee and auditor (as required) Collect & log samples for laboratory analysis Make recommendations for improvement Support during external site audits Create training materials and operating manuals when required Assist in complaint investigation and resolution Report writing Maintain gluten, milk- and egg- free status of products made on site.

Requirements we need:

Proven work experience as a

Quality Assurance Technician

or similar role (Essential) Working knowledge of tools, methods and concepts of quality assurance Internal Audit qualification (Essential) Level 2 Food Hygiene (Essential) PC Literate (Essential) Knowledge of food allergens (Essential) HACCP Qualification (Desirable) Ability to interpret laboratory results (desirable)
