The Role:

We're seeking a

Tooling Technician

to join our night shift production team. This is a

hands-on manufacturing role

focused on the

lapping, polishing, and finishing of diamond tools

to exact specifications.

You'll work with precision instruments and microscopes to ensure each tool meets strict quality and dimensional standards. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys

detailed manual work

, values accuracy, and takes pride in producing top-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform

lapping, polishing, and finishing

of precision diamond tools Use

microscopes and precision measuring equipment

to inspect small components Read and follow

technical drawings, measurements, and work instructions

Use

hand tools

to perform detailed finishing work Maintain an organised work area and follow safety procedures Collaborate with team members to meet production and quality targets

Requirements:

Experience in

detailed, hands-on technical work

preferred (e.g. toolmaking, production assembly, jewelry making, optical work, or fine manufacturing) Strong

mathematical and mechanical aptitude

Excellent

attention to detail

and patience for repetitive precision tasks Comfortable using

hand tools and measuring instruments

Good eyesight

for close-up work under a microscope

Ability to stand for long periods

during the shift Dependable and focused, with strong work ethic

Previous night shift experience

is

strongly preferred
