Are you an experienced NIHL Fee Earner looking for your next challenge?
Join a thriving and well-respected legal firm with a strong reputation in industrial disease claims. We are currently seeking a driven and knowledgeable NIHL Fee Earner to handle a caseload of litigated and pre-litigated NIHL matters from cradle to grave.
Key Responsibilities:
Managing a caseload of NIHL claims under both fixed and non-fixed costs regimes.
Reviewing medical evidence, audiograms, engineering reports, and applying relevant case law.
Drafting pleadings, witness statements, and Part 35 questions.
Negotiating settlements and progressing matters through litigation where necessary.
Working closely with clients, counsel, and medical experts.
Maintaining accurate case management and time-recording on internal systems.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Proven experience running a litigated NIHL caseload independently.
Strong understanding of the legal framework surrounding industrial disease claims.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
Familiarity with Proclaim or similar case management systems.
A proactive, organised, and client-focused approach.
