The role comprises three key responsibilities. First and foremost, it involves overseeing competition law and the regulation of key industry sectors. Secondly, it requires ensuring that a diverse range of stakeholders remain informed about legislative and legal developments, while ensuring respect for the JCRA's role and authority. Finally, it calls for a Chair who can provide our talented Board and Executive with inspiring collaborative leadership and clear strategic guidance whilst maintaining strong governance.
