Job Summary



We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Technologist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting scientific research and clinical studies by utilising advanced data analysis techniques and laboratory skills.

As our NPD Technologist, we are looking for someone to Deliver applications research and development that promotes our products, Engage with prospects and customers requiring product advice and applications development and Deliver projects on time

The NPD Technologist will collaborate closely with Sales & Marketing, and the NPD team to deliver on customer briefs and contribute to proactive innovation and business improvement projects.

Main Responsibilities



Support the Sales and marketing team through provision of product application solutions and samples in a timely manner in line with company opportunities and briefs

Directly engage with prospects and customers promoting innovation days, on-site and off-site customer visits

Continuous improvement throughout the technical applications function

Be involved in the implementation of product safety and legality

Co-ordinate with Sales Team and Customers to achieve new business opportunities

Enter formulations and applications data onto computer systems in line with the company's development process

Ensure compliance of legislation with regard to additives and flavourings and that they are legal and safe to use

Oversee customer samples to ensure most appropriate samples are sent and are fit for purpose

Ensure that internal and external customer expectations are always met

Ensure departments KPI's are met

Requirements



Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific discipline such as Biochemistry, Biology, or a related field. Proficiency in programming languages including MATLAB, Python, and R. Bakery experience is preferred but not required Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis within a laboratory setting. Familiarity with clinical research methodologies is advantageous. Experience with microscopy techniques is preferred. Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with colleagues.
