My Client is a highly innovative manufacturer of products supplied to FMCG environments including Food and Drink. They are currently seeking a NPD Technologist to join their team. This is an amazing opportunity for a passionate \xe2\x80\x9cfoodie\xe2\x80\x9d to join a small team in a innovative position that will involve working alongside all areas of the business and interacting with Clients. Within this role you will be exploring new concepts, developing products across a range of sectors and working with the sales team to promote the companies products

Key aspects of this role are to develop a strong technical interaction with customers to ensure that they:
\xc2\xb7Always experience good technical support
\xc2\xb7Support Sales and Marketing develop new business opportunities through technical engagement
\xc2\xb7Maintain an awareness of trends in the food industry

This is a Monday to Friday Day based role with some flexibility for Home working once settled within the position

NPD Technologist / Food Technologist Roles and Responsibilities

\xc2\xb7Support the Sales and marketing team through provision of product application solutions and samples in a timely manner in line with company opportunities and briefs
\xc2\xb7Directly engage with prospects and customers promoting innovation days and off-site customer visits
\xc2\xb7Continuous improvement throughout the technical applications function
\xc2\xb7Be involved in the implementation of product safety and legality
\xc2\xb7Co-ordinate with Sales Team and Customers to achieve new business opportunities
\xc2\xb7Enter formulations and applications data onto computer systems in line with the company\'s development process
\xc2\xb7Ensure compliance of legislation with regard to additives and flavourings and that they are legal and safe to use
\xc2\xb7Oversee customer samples to ensure most appropriate samples are sent and are fit for purpose
\xc2\xb7Ensure that internal and external customer expectations are always met
\xc2\xb7Ensure departments KPI\'s are met

NPD Technologist Benefits
A salary of between \xc2\xa3 25-30,000 DOE
\xc2\xb710% Pension
\xc2\xb728 days holiday (inc Bank Holidays) + 3 days holiday over Christmas when the site shuts down
