We are now seeking an enthusiastic and motivated property lawyer to join us. This is an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, or Chartered Legal Executive with up to 2 years' PQE to gain hands-on experience in both residential and commercial property work.
The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload of residential and commercial conveyancing matters while also assisting senior colleagues with more complex property transactions. With direct access to experienced directors and solicitors, you'll have the chance to develop your technical skills, commercial awareness, and client care within a supportive environment where your contributions will be valued.
Key Requirements
0-2 years' PQE (Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, or CILEx) with experience in residential conveyancing and exposure to commercial property (through training or post-qualification)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues
Proactive, organised, and detail-focused, with the ability to manage multiple cases at once
Comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively within a team
Proficiency with legal IT and case management systems (desirable)
Duties and responsibilities
Advise clients on residential property matters, including sales, purchases, leases, and mortgages.
Support senior solicitors on more complex property matters
Prepare and review legal documents such as contracts, leases, and transfer deeds.
Conduct property searches and liaise with local authorities and other relevant parties.
Manage client relationships, ensuring clear communication throughout the transaction process.
Maintain accurate records and documentation using legal software and IT systems.
Attend meetings with clients, estate agents, and other stakeholders as necessary.
Stay updated on changes in property law and regulations to provide informed advice.
