We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nurse Associate (NA) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess strong a commitment to providing exceptional patient care. As a NA, you will play a vital role in promoting health, preventing illness, and caring for patients in a GP Practice setting. Your expertise will contribute significantly to the well-being of our patients and the overall effectiveness of our healthcare services.

Responsibilities



Assess and monitor patient health by performing physical examinations and obtaining medical histories. Develop and implement individualised care plans based on patient needs and medical conditions. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health management and disease prevention. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care. Maintain accurate patient records, documenting observations, interventions, and outcomes. Respond promptly to patient inquiries and concerns, demonstrating empathy and professionalism. Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in nursing.

Requirements



Valid nursing qualification (e.g., Diploma or Degree in Nursing). Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology. Proven experience in patient care within a GP setting is preferred. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work effectively as part of a team as well as independently. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail. Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards. Registration with the appropriate nursing regulatory body is essential.
