Job Description

Lead on the professional and clinical development of the Dermatology Nursing Team and expansion of nurse led services across the sites Provide expert clinical advice to all medical and nursing Dermatology staff to ensure best practice standards are met that willclinically improve outcomes and influence a reduction in unnecessary interventions and facilitate self-management for patients with skin conditions Make independent clinical decisions and initiate investigations, care /treatment and technological intervention within an agreed framework. Mentoring, Teaching and Assessing In-depth knowledge of appropriate NICE guidelines relating to dermatology/skin cancer Extensive experience of nursing patients with acute and chronic skin conditions, assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating plans of care Prescribing dermatological medications Performing minor surgical procedures For further details, please see attached job description
