Job Description

The Grange is a warm and welcoming nursing home committed to providing the highest standards of care for elderly residents, including those with complex needs and dementia. We pride ourselves on creating a safe, supportive and dignified environment for residents and staff alike.

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team. You will be responsible for delivering high quality clinical care, supporting residents wellbeing and helping to oversee the smooth operation of the home..

Key responsibilities

Provide clinical care to elderly residents, including those with dementia, palliative and complex care needs. Administer medications safely and accurately, following NMC and home policies. Monitor and assess residents health, respond to emergencies and update care plans accordingly. Maintain accurate and timely documentation using electronic care systems (Log My Care). Supervise and support care staff, ensuring high standards of personal care and infection control. Communicate effectively with residents, families and staff to ensure continuity of care. Carry out checks, respond to call bells, and provide emotional and physical support as needed. Ensure the home remains safe , calm and compliant.

Requirements

Relevant Nursing qualification. Valid NMC registration. Experience working in elderly care or a nursing home setting (preferred). Sound clinical knowledge and experience in medication administration, wound care and end-of-life support. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Ability to remain calm under pressure and respond appropriately in emergency situations. Right to work in the UK.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 23.20 per hour
