The position is split between
16 hours supernumerary (2 x 8 hours)
and
24 hours on the floor (2 x 12 hours)
, giving you the chance to both lead strategically and remain hands-on in care delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Home Manager in day-to-day operations, compliance, and governance.
Lead, motivate, and mentor the clinical and care teams to ensure excellent standards of care.
Oversee care planning, medication management, and risk assessments.
Act as a role model, ensuring CQC standards are met and exceeded.
Provide hands-on nursing care as part of your role on the floor.
Build strong relationships with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
Requirements
Valid NMC registration
(Adult, Mental Health, or Learning Disabilities).
Previous Deputy Home Manager experience (essential).
Strong clinical and leadership skills.
Excellent knowledge of CQC standards and regulatory compliance.
A proactive and compassionate approach to resident care.
