Key Responsibilities:
Support the Home Manager in the clinical and operational management of the home.
Lead, supervise, and mentor nursing and care staff to deliver safe, person-centred care.
Ensure compliance with
CQC standards
, safeguarding, and health & safety regulations.
Engage with residents and families to understand their needs and maintain excellent standards of care.
Oversee care planning, audits, medication management, and risk assessments.
Promote a positive, professional environment and drive continuous improvement.
Requirements:
NMC Registered Nurse
(Adult, Mental Health, or Learning Disabilities) - active pin with no restrictions.
Proven
Deputy Home Manager experience
within a nursing home setting.
Strong leadership and management skills.
Ability to engage with residents and families to provide outstanding care.
Excellent clinical knowledge and understanding of governance and compliance.
