About the role

Join our innovative, digital-first healthcare service as a

Remote Independent Nurse Prescriber

(weight management). You'll manage your own caseload, deliver virtual consultations, and provide high-quality, evidence-based care with a focus on lifestyle medicine and responsible medication use.

Key responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive remote consultations (video/phone/messages) to assess suitability for weight-management treatments. Prescribe and review GLP-1s in line with national guidelines and our clinical protocols. Provide ongoing education, behaviour-change coaching, and adherence support. Review medical history and biometric data to inform treatment plans. Collaborate with dietitians/health coaches to deliver integrated care. Maintain accurate records in our online prescribing platform. Participate in team meetings and contribute to service improvements.

Create short, educational social-media videos

(e.g., 1-3 mins) explaining safe weight-loss practices, GLP-1 guidance, lifestyle tips, and FAQs. Content must be evidence-based, compliant with MHRA/GPhC advertising rules, and avoid individual medical advice. We provide topics, brand guidelines, and approvals before posting.

About you

NMC registration and

V300 Independent Prescribing

qualification. 2+ years post-qualification in a patient-facing clinical role. Experience in weight management and GLP-1 prescribing. Excellent remote communication skills; strong digital literacy (e-prescribing/EHR). Commitment to clinical governance, patient safety, and best-in-class care. Comfortable appearing on camera and explaining clinical topics clearly to the public.
