IntraHealth is one of the UK's leading providers of NHS Primary and Community Care services. We serve a range of patients across our three divisions of Primary Care (general practice), Pharmacy and Clinical Services which includes anticoagulation monitoring, patient medication reviews and childhood immunisation programmes.

We are recruiting an enthusiastic motivated experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our Team at our William Brown Centre, Peterlee.
The successful candidate will be an exceptional team player with good communication and interpersonal skills who is enthusiastic and committed to join the team on a permanent basis.
The ideal candidate will have a sound background in chronic disease management, first contact and telephone triage, assessing treating and reviewing all ages and conditions.
The candidate must have at least two years' experience as a Nurse Practitioner and hold a non-medical prescribing qualification.
The role requires travel between the main and branch sites of the practice, therefore the successful candidate must have means of transport and drive, mileage will be reimbursed at the company rate.
The successful applicant for this post will be joining us at a particularly exciting time as we develop and expand our services.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to extend their roles in specialities for example, Minor Operations, Women's Health, Joint Injections as well as educational and mentorship opportunities. We also encourage career progression within Intrahealth up to the level of Associate Nurse Director
As Clinical Practitioners in the practice you would have the freedom and authority to act and accept accountability for your actions. This level of practice is characterised by autonomous decision making for complex multi-dimensional problems using high level knowledge and skills.
The candidate would have support from the wider multidisciplinary team within the practice and would be expected to attend regular practice clinical & Educational meetings. The current Multidisciplinary team are well integrated, demonstrating a strong team spirit and enthusiastic approach to healthcare.
