You will support the nursery leadership team with administrator tasks to ensure a smooth running of the nursery. The successful candidate will share our company values as detailed below.

Main Roles and Responsibilities



Manage incoming phone calls, answering or directing enquiries and/or taking meaningful messages, knowledgably and to the correct people
Greet visitors at the front door during the day to accept deliveries etc
Write professional emails and letters as directed using appropriate tone, language and punctuation
Ensure that the Nursery is in compliance with policies and procedures
Respond to enquiries
Process new child starters and leavers
Use our early years platform 'Famly' to manage children's bookings, waiting lists and staff information
Manage workload via Outlook in oorder that colleagues and managers can easily review
Efficiently manage and maintain accurate customer, child, and staff records (electronic and paper).
Auditing consumables and completing weekly orders
Preparation for payroll H&S admin where required Miscellaneous admin and filing Refer any complaints to the Nursery Manager immediately Work as part of a close team and communicate effectively to ensure smooth running of the day and that important messages are shared appropriately To have mutual respect for all team members Read and adhere to all company policies & procedures which are inline with Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage and guidelines as laid down by OFSTED and the local authority. To safeguard children. Share disclosures or concerns you have about the welfare of a child without delay to those with lead responsibility for safeguarding and to escalate externally should your concerns not be dealt with appropriately. Read, adhere and complete company risk assessments and take all practical steps to ensure the safety & wellbeing of all who use the premises. Attend and participate in staff meetings, training courses and professional development systems such as supervisions and appraisals This job description may be amended at any time after consultation with you
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From 12.60 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
