Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a desire to provide high-quality childcare and education to join our growing team in Moorends.

The position available is for a nursery apprentice. As an apprentice you will be signed up to our training provider, who will guide you through a level 3 qualification in childcare and education (Early Years Educator). You will also receive training in a wide variety of other areas including Paediatric first aid, Child protection and food hygiene as well as other courses to develop your professional growth.

You will work under the direction from your room leader and manager to help support the learning and development of children aged 0-5 years.

The successful candidate must:

Have a genuine interest in the education and development of children.
Be willing to undertake all necessary training.
Be able to take direction and constructive feedback from senior members of staff.
Have a good level of spoken and written English
Have good people skills
Be reliable and self assured
Be able to have fun and not take themselves too seriously
To be willing to be hands on and get messy and creative with the children.
