Summary

We are seeking an Apprentice Nursery Practitioner to join our vibrant team at QCE Nurseries. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in early childhood education while working closely with children to support their development in a nurturing environment.

You will receive extensive mentoring and coaching as you progress through your qualification with our trusted training partner. No need to attend college!

Hours of work: Mon-Fri, 8 hours per day, 4 hours a week of study time provided.

Responsibilities

Assist in the planning and implementation of engaging educational activities for children. Support the daily care and supervision of children, ensuring their safety and well-being. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to foster positive relationships. Help maintain a clean, safe, and stimulating nursery environment. Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance skills. Observe and record children's progress, contributing to their developmental assessments.

Requirements

A passion for working with young children and supporting their development. Previous experience in childcare or early years education is desirable but not essential. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in English. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. A willingness to learn and develop new skills within the childcare sector.
