is looking for a Nursery Apprentices to work towards a Level 3 qualification whilst working within the setting. We are part of a family-run, private group of nurseries and we offer progressive career opportunities in early years childcare. We offer quality care and education for children from birth to 5 years. is located in Hinckley, and is well placed for commuting from Hinckley, Nuneaton, Leicester

The main role will include:

Assist in the day to day care of children. Organise and take part in activities. Observing children and updating development plans. Assist at meal/snack and sleep times The role will need you to use your initiative and be confident in your duties.

Requirements

:

Are 16 or over, have a passion about care for children and an aptitude for learning Minimum requirement are: English and Maths GCSE grades 2 or E or above Are able to commit to a full apprenticeship programme Have good communication skills both written and verbal. Are patient and friendly Knowledge of EYFS First aid (preferred) Basic IT skills (preferred) Driving Licence (preferred)
An Enhanced DBS Disclosure and satisfactory references will be required for this position.

Schedule:

Full time position, Monday to Fridays between 7.30 am to 6.00pm to work

Experience

Childcare: 1 year (preferred)

Salary

Competitive salary, dependent on age, qualification & experience.

An enhanced DBS check will be required for this role.

Job Type: Full-time
