Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Apprentice Nursery Practitioner to join our vibrant team. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about early childhood education and are eager to develop their skills in a nurturing environment. As an Apprentice, you will gain hands-on experience while working under the guidance of experienced practitioners, contributing to the growth and development of children in our care. You will gain a childcare qualification at L2 or L3.

Duties

Assist in the planning and implementation of engaging activities that promote children's learning and development. Support children in their daily routines, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication. Help maintain a clean, safe, and stimulating nursery environment. Observe and record children's progress, providing feedback to senior staff as necessary. Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance your professional development. Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive team atmosphere.

Qualifications

A genuine interest in working with children and a commitment to providing high-quality childcare. Previous experience with children, whether through formal employment or voluntary work, is desirable. Understanding of early childhood education principles and practices is advantageous. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Nursery experience is a plus but not mandatory; we welcome those eager to learn.
