Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Apprentice Nursery Practitioner to join our vibrant team. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about early childhood education and looking to develop their skills in a nurturing environment. As an Apprentice, you will work closely with experienced practitioners, gaining hands-on experience in childcare and nursery management while contributing to the development and well-being of children.

Duties

Assist in the planning and implementation of engaging educational activities tailored to children's developmental needs. Support the daily care of children, ensuring their safety, happiness, and well-being at all times. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to foster a positive nursery environment. Help manage the nursery space, ensuring it is clean, organised, and conducive to learning. Observe and record children's progress, providing feedback to senior staff as necessary. Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance your professional development. Drive initiatives that promote a stimulating learning atmosphere within the nursery.

Requirements

A keen interest in early childhood education and childcare practices. Must hold a Minimum C/5 in GCSE English and Maths Previous experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting is advantageous. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written. A proactive approach to managing tasks and responsibilities effectively. Commitment to ongoing professional development within the field of childcare.

Pay: 7.55-12.21 per hour
