We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Apprentice Nursery Practitioner to join our vibrant team. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about early childhood education and eager to gain hands-on experience in a nursery setting. As an Apprentice, you will support the daily activities of the nursery, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children. You will work closely with experienced practitioners, learning essential skills in childcare management and development.

Responsibilities

Assist in the planning and implementation of engaging educational activities that promote children's development. Support the daily care routines of children, including feeding, dressing, and hygiene. Foster positive relationships with children and their families, ensuring effective communication. Maintain a clean and safe nursery environment, adhering to health and safety regulations. Observe and record children's progress, contributing to their individual learning plans. Collaborate with team members to create a supportive atmosphere that encourages learning through play. Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to enhance professional development.

Qualifications

Experience working with children in a childcare or nursery setting is preferred. A background in early childhood education or related field is advantageous. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Demonstrated leadership abilities and management skills within a team environment. A genuine passion for childcare and the development of young children. Driving licence is beneficial for potential travel between nursery locations or activities. Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also demonstrating initiative when required.
