Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate

Trainee Nursery Nurse

to join our early years team. The successful candidate will help to create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children. This role offers an excellent opportunity to learn management and leadership skills while supporting children's developmental needs. Responsibilities

Learn how to provide high-quality care and support to children in accordance with nursery policies and procedures Plan, organise, and supervise age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development Foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment that encourages children's curiosity and social skills Support children's emotional well-being through attentive care and positive interactions Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the smooth running of daily nursery operations Maintain accurate records of children's progress, attendance, and any incidents Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding their child's development and daily activities Assist with organising nursery routines such as meal times, naps, and play sessions

Qualifications

Ability to work effectively as part of a team whilst demonstrating initiative when required

Pay: 7.55-12.21 per hour
