Summary

We are seeking an Apprentice Nursery Practitioner to join our vibrant team at Fledgelings Day Nursery. This role offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in early childhood education while supporting the development and wellbeing of children aged 3 months to 5 years.

Responsibilities

Assist in the planning and implementation of engaging activities that promote learning and development. Support the daily care routines of children, ensuring their safety and wellbeing. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to foster a positive nursery environment. Observe and record children's progress, sharing insights with senior staff. Contribute to maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming nursery space. Participate in training sessions to enhance your skills and knowledge in early childhood education.

Requirements

A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their development. Strong communication skills to engage with children and families effectively. Experience or interest in childcare or early childhood education is preferred but not essential. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also demonstrating initiative. Willingness to learn and develop new skills through training opportunities.

Pay: 9.00-12.21 per year
