Job Description
Hayeswick is a small, family run day nursery based in West Wickham BR4.
We are currently looking for enthusiastic, passionate people who want to get into childcare as we are looking to hire a 'nursery apprentice' who we will train and guide to get a L2/L3 qualification in childcare.
Working week: 40 hour week
Shift pattern of either 8-5, 8:30-5:30, 9-6. This will change weekly.
Salary
7.55 per hour in line with
National Minimum Apprentice wage.The role will include:
Undertaking training to obtain recognized qualifications, including completing assignments on time
To attend team meetings and contribute relevant ideas
Under supervision to provide all aspects of care for children including washing, changing and feeding
To assist with meeting the personal and emotional needs of children
To provide adult interaction with children in the setting
To be aware of the settings confidentiality policy
There is plenty of career progression offered in the job. You could also climb the career ladder by gaining higher qualifications and become a supervisor or deputy leader.
