Summary

We are seeking an Apprentice to join our dynamic team at Georgie Porgie Nursery. This role is perfect for individuals eager to kickstart their career in early childhood education while contributing to the growth of our nursery. You will play a vital role in supporting the development and care of children in a nurturing environment.

The role will be 4 days on the job learning and 1 day paid study.

Responsibilities

Assist in the daily care and supervision of children in the nursery. Support educational activities that promote learning and development. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues. Help manage classroom activities and maintain a safe environment. Participate in training sessions to enhance your skills in childcare. Contribute to creating engaging learning experiences for children.

Requirements

A genuine passion for working with young children. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Basic understanding of early childhood education principles is desirable. Experience with childcare or working with children is an advantage but not essential. Willingness to learn and develop professionally within the nursery setting.
