We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about working with children and eager to develop their skills in early childhood education. As an Apprentice, you will receive hands-on training while supporting the daily operations of our nursery. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain valuable experience in childcare, leadership, and communication.
Responsibilities
Assist in the planning and implementation of engaging activities for children in the nursery.
Support the lead educators in managing classroom dynamics and ensuring a safe, nurturing environment.
Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to foster positive relationships.
Help maintain cleanliness and organisation within the nursery setting.
Drive to various locations as required for training or outreach activities.
Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for programme improvement.
Observe and document children's progress and development under supervision.
Qualifications
Experience working with children is preferred, particularly in a nursery or childcare setting but not essential.
A strong interest in early childhood education and a willingness to learn.
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
A commitment to providing high-quality care and education to children.

You will have off the job hours each week to support your learning and you will have a tutor and a training mentor.
Ideal candidate will commit to a 41.5 hour week which is 4.5 days but part of this will be study time.
