We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Assistant to join our team. Duties

Assist in the planning and implementation of educational activities that promote children's development. Supervise and engage with children during playtime, ensuring their safety and well-being. Support the Management team in maintaining a clean, organised, and stimulating environment. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's progress and daily activities. Assist with meal preparation and feeding as necessary, ensuring dietary requirements are met. Maintain accurate records of children's development and attendance. Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive team atmosphere.

Skills

Previous experience working with children in a childcare or nursery setting is essential. Essential - CACHE LEVEL 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education
Playworks level 2, or the willingness to achieve the certificate in a timely manner Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to drive may be beneficial for transporting children or resources as required. A nurturing attitude towards children, demonstrating patience and understanding. Flexibility to adapt to changing situations within the nursery environment.
