Responsibilities
Assist in the planning and implementation of educational activities that promote early childhood development.
Supervise and engage with children during playtime, meals, and rest periods to ensure their safety and enjoyment.
Support the lead nursery staff in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for children and families.
Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's progress and any concerns that may arise.
Help manage daily routines, including feeding, changing, and nap times.
Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance childcare skills.
Skills
Proven experience with children in a childcare or nursery setting is essential.
Strong management and leadership skills to guide children effectively.
Knowledge of early childhood education principles is highly desirable.
Excellent communication skills in English to interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
A valid driving licence may be beneficial for transporting materials or attending off-site activities.
