Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting the daily activities of our nursery, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for children.
Duties
Assist in planning engaging activities tailored to the developmental needs of children. Supervise and interact with children during playtime, ensuring their safety and wellbeing. Maintain a clean, organised, and stimulating nursery environment. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's daily activities. Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities as needed.
You will have a mentor to support you during your induction and beyond.
We are keen to support our staff with their professional development, offering the opportunity to complete a level 3 in childcare.
This role is subject to a clear enhanced DBS check and two references.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: From 12.21 per hour
Schedule:
Monday to Friday
