Duties

Assist in the daily care and supervision of children aged 0-5 years in the nursery setting. Support the planning and implementation of age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development. Communicate effectively with children, encouraging their social skills and emotional development. Maintain a clean, safe, and stimulating environment for children to explore and learn. Collaborate with other staff members to manage children's behaviour positively and constructively. Build strong relationships with parents and guardians, providing updates on their child's progress and well-being. Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills in early childhood education.

Experience

Previous experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is preferred. A background in early childhood education or relevant qualifications would be advantageous. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, are essential for effective interaction with children, parents, and colleagues. Leadership qualities are beneficial for guiding activities and managing small groups of children. A valid driving licence is desirable for potential off-site activities or outings.
