We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of the nursery, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for children. Duties
Assist in the planning and implementation of engaging activities that promote children's physical, emotional, and social development.
Supervise children during playtime, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
Support the lead nursery staff in maintaining a clean and organised environment, including tidying up after activities and ensuring toys are sanitised.
Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their independence and self-esteem.
Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's progress and daily activities.
Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to enhance professional development.
Experience
Previous experience working with young children is preferred but not essential; enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are key.
A qualification in Early Years Education or Childcare would be advantageous.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
A genuine love for working with children and a commitment to their care and education.
Ability to demonstrate patience, creativity, and adaptability in various situations.
