Position: Experienced Nursery Assistant

Location: Coombe Dingle, Westbury Lane

Job Type: Full time, Permanent

Working Hours: 40 hours Monday to Friday, all year round

Salary: Up to 12.25 per hour (depending on qualifications & experience)

About the Role

We're looking for a

dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Assistant

to join our team.

As a Nursery Assistant, you will:

Support qualified team members in delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities aligned with the EYFS framework

Help care for children throughout the day, including at mealtimes, during rest, and in daily routines

Build warm relationships with children and families, supporting development and wellbeing

Maintain a clean, safe and stimulating environment -- both indoors and outdoors

Contribute to observation and assessment processes (training provided)

Uphold high standards of safeguarding, hygiene, and inclusive practice

What We're Looking For

A positive, caring attitude and a genuine passion for working with children

Good communication and teamwork skills

Willingness to learn and develop (support to achieve Early Years qualifications available)

Some experience with children

A good standard of literacy and numeracy
