CherryStone Day Nursery, 1 Dell Lane, Stoneleigh, Surrey, KT17 2NE

Salary

: 10.00 - 12.21 per hour (dependant on NMW)

Hours

: 42.5 hours per week - Monday to Friday


We are recruiting for a Nursery assistant to join our team at Cherrystone Day Nursery.


The Nursery is located next to Stoneleigh station with access to local shops within walking distance, the nursery is a converted building across two floors which provides spacious rooms and a staff room.

As Nursery Assistant, you will:

Ensure the safety and wellbeing of every child, staff, parent and visitor always Understand the requirements of the statutory framework for the EYFS and staff: child ratios Provide engaging and purposeful experiences, environments and resources to children, that are appropriate to their age and stage of development Facilitate a strong key person approach to enable children to form secure attachments and cover all children daily when colleagues are absent Observe and support children's development, update the EyLog system and children's learning journals with accuracy and relevance, and seek guidance from colleagues or Room Leader if in doubt Provide the all-around daily needs of children, including their physical, intellectual, social and emotional development

What we are looking for:

Fluent in written and spoken English - essential Over 1 year's experience of working in Early Years - desirable Knowledge of the Statutory framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements - desirable
